    Mike Ross, LCSW, PhD (ABD)

Director of BSW Program, IU Bloomington; Author, Too Weird to Fail

Mike Ross, LCSW, Ph.D. (ABD) is a social psychologist, licensed clinical social worker, gonzo narrative strategist, and cognitive resilience expert dedicated to building human firewalls against manipulation, trauma, and toxic stress. He has directed statewide initiatives in suicide prevention, disaster mental health, and community resilience for the State of Indiana, and currently serves as Director of the Bachelor of Social Work Program at Indiana University Bloomington, where he integrates systems thinking, behavioral science, and coalition-building into social work education.

As the creator of Too Weird to Fail and host of the podcast Let’s Get Rad with Mike Ross, he blends evidence-based psychology with storytelling to empower human agency and narrative transformation.
